Jessica Montenegro Skapetis, Partner
Jessica Montenegro Skapetis is a Florida native and first generation Cuban American.
Her interested in the law began with attending Police academy courses and then progressed through her attendance at the University of Florida.
While attending UF, Jessica was an officer for UF’s Criminology and Law Honor society and was selected for the U.S. Marshals Honors program.
She went on to attend Florida Coastal School of Law on scholarship and began litigating in Federal Immigration Court in her second year of law school.
Jessica stayed in the Jacksonville area practicing criminal, family, and immigration law and began teaching criminal justice and paralegal studies to college students at Everest University.
Jessica is now a Clay County resident with strong ties to the community. She has been the Clay County Bar Association President, the Vice President of the Middleburg Civic association, an ambassador for the Clay Chamber, and a Lions Counsel member for St. Johns Classical Academy. Jessica’s passion are horses, triathlons, and her family. Today Jessica is an attorney with the Davie Law Firm in Green cove Springs, Florida concentrating her practice on family law and criminal defense. She strives to be a zealous advocate for her clients who are going through some of the most difficult emotional and taxing battles of their lives.

- Served in the United States Marine Corps, Vietnam, from 1967 to 1969 and was honorably discharged from service
- Graduated from The University of Florida, 1972

- Began his career at the law firm of Rodgers Towers in Jacksonville, Florida
- Moved to Green Cove Springs in 1986 to assume the practice of Judge William Wilkes and Judge Thomas McAnally
